This search engine helps you find documents on the AJA website. You tell the search engine what you're looking for by typing in keyword(s) or phrases. The search engine responds by giving you a list of all the pages in the AJA website that contain those keywords and/or phrases. The most relevant content will appear at the top of your results.
How to Use
1.Type your keyword(s) in the search box.
2.Select whether you would like for the search to find all the words you typed in or just any of the words.
3. Choose whether you would like to search:
-the entire AJA website
-just the Collection Inventories or
-just the World Jewish Congress Inventory
4.Press the Search button to start your search.
Search Tips
1. Reform Movement finds all items containing reform and movement.
2. "American Jewish Committee" (in quotes) finds all items containing exactly that text in that order.
3. When searching for an individual's name, try both "Marie Syrkin" and "Syrkin, Marie".
4. You can use the "find" button on your web browser to locate specific words once the search engine has pointed to a particular page on the AJA website.
5. Case is ignored.
