The Ezra Consortium is a council of men and women actively involved in the work of The Jacob Rader Marcus Center of the American Jewish Archives. In Hebrew, the name "Ezra" literally means "one who helps." In this spirit, the Ezra Consortium will directly help The Marcus Center preserve the richness of our American Jewish heritage by......

• Identifying and acquiring additional documentary material that will enhance the collections of the American Jewish Archives;
• Attending a unique annual Ezra Consortium Conference featuring discussions about The Marcus Center, its collection, and cutting edge presentations from some of the greatest scholars in the field of American Jewish history;
• Receiving all of The Marcus Center's published literature, announcements and program notices, including its highly regarded publication, The American Jewish Archives Journal
• Providing financial support for The Marcus Center's projects and initiatives.
