The collection consists mainly of correspondence, but also includes sermons, writings and some personal items. The Papers deal almost exclusively with Rabbi Olan's career during his years at Temple Emanu-El in Dallas, Texas with the bulk of the material spanning the years, 1950-1970. Inventory available
